The LTC project is currently supported by a long running contract referred to as the Technical Partner. This wide-ranging contract was originally set up for the development phase of the project. The activity under the Technical Partner contract is now being refocused on activities to support the main works procurement and DCO process. Highways England (HE) is aiming to procure a limited volume of specialist technical services to support HE in the transition of the LTC project from the Development phase into the Delivery Phase, where a Delivery partner as well as the Technical Partner will support HE.
