19 129 Contract for the Provision of Servicing and Maintenance of Lifts and Hoists
What the buyer wrote
Lifts and hoists provide an aid to independent living for individuals who have mobility related issues. As such, they support people to be more independent and to be cared for in their own home, thus also reducing the need for a more complex care and support package. This also benefits carers by making it easier for them to provide care to the individual. Lifts and hoists are supplied to Cheshire East residents by a number of separate contracts, in response to successful Disabled Facilities Grant applications. This service will maintain the lift and hoist equipment once it is outside of its warranty period, to ensure that it continues to be safe.
