There is a requirement at the University of Nottingham (UON) within the Gas Turbine & Transmissions Research Centre (GTTRC) for a test facility with two independent drive shafts to test a variety of aero engine and advanced power transmissions based unit under test (UUT). The facility design shall be of a modular nature to provide for the maximum flexibility in accommodating current and future test requirements.
