Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) is seeking a Provider to deliver the equipment, consumables, training and customer support for cholesterol (Total serum cholesterol (TC) \High Density Lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) point-of-care testing (POCT) or near patient testing (NPT) as part of the NHS Health Check for up to 90 x GP practices across Cambridgeshire. Individual practices will have the option of taking part in cholesterol POCT or can continue to use phlebotomy. CCC may extend service provision to Pharmacies during the life of this contract for the delivery of training around POCT only.
