In April 2013, ESPO, on behalf of Leicestershire County Autism Outreach Service established a framework contract for high quality and cost effective intensive support to meet the identified needs of children with high functioning Autism/ Asperger syndrome who are currently unable to attend school due to their autism. The framework agreement was set up to provide provision for 1:1, paired, or small group work that could take place entirely within the home of the student, with the community engaging in local activities, in a local school setting and/ or a combination of the three locations as dictated by needs and plans for the specific individual.
