What the buyer wrote

Tenders are invited for the supply, installation and commissioning (including all necessary training) of a 3D weaving machine for the production of 3D woven carbon fibre preforms. The equipment is to be supplied to the Composites Group of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Catcliffe, Rotherham. The equipment will be utilised for research projects rather than production, therefore the machine needs to be adaptable for further modifications if required. The solution should also be able to deal with periods of varying usage. Additional information: Tender document may be downloaded from the University's electronic tendering portal https://in-tendhost.oc.uk/Sheffield
