4674- Provision of Supported Accommodation for Looked After Children
London Borough Of Bexleyservices
What the buyer wrote
The London Borough of Bexley has a statutory requirement for ensuring that there is placement sufficiency for all Looked after Children aged 16/17 in order that their assessed needs can be appropriately met. To help meet this requirement the Council wishes to procure 6 supported accommodation placements located at a single location, contracted on a ‘block’ basis. In addition to the current (block) requirements detailed above, the Council also intends to implement a Framework for the provision of future supported accommodation requirements in either Council owned or Supplier provided properties, required on a ‘spot’ purchase or mini competition basis.
