7802 Historic Building Investigations -building surveys of thirteen buildings in the Old Fish Docks, Kasbah Conservation Area, Grimsby - AWARD

This brief is for the individual survey of thirteen buildings within the Kasbah Conservation Area and the Old Fish Docks. Nationally, within its maze of streets this area represents the country's largest collection of fishing industry related structures in what was the premier fishing town. These include smokehouses, fish processing works, warehouses, shops, and an insurance office. The historic core of this area is the Kasbah Conservation Area, designated in 2017, and within it eight buildings are listed and around 90% of the buildings are unoccupied or derelict.
