We're commissioning research and copywriting into the breadth and variety of place-saving endeavours that took place from 1939-1945 to interrogate 'To what extent was 'place-saving' on the home-front a national phenomenon?'. We value stories over statistics, however we would prefer the researcher to present both. Researchers should estimate how many places survived WW2 bombing thanks to efforts on the home-front and how many people on the home-front risked their lives to save the places they loved during WW2.
