Birmingham City Council (The Council) is committed to enhancing the health & wellbeing of children at the start of life in order to enable them to achieve their full potential through childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood. The aim is to break the intergenerational cycle of socio-economic disadvantage, premature disability, and reduced life expectancy. In Birmingham this includes the procurement of an integrated Early Years Health and Wellbeing system offer that includes universal and targeted Health and low intensity family support programmes and interventions.
