Following a Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) process, FLS intends to appoint a service provider to capture aerial lidar and photography data for an Area of Interest in the west of Scotland, to process the raw data, and to provide analysis-ready information in the form of terrain and forestry inventory models in GIS format. This time-sensitive piece of work builds on the work already completed and will be critical in informing a business case which considers national deployment.
