Agreement for the Provision of an Independent Financial Adviser Framework

The Service Users Financial Affairs team manage the finances of over 230 service users either with an Appointeeship for benefits, with a General Power of Attorney or by a Deputyship Order issued by the Court of Protection. The Deputyship Order and General Power of Attorney are for the full management of a service users financial and property affairs. Under the Office of the Public Guardian’s Deputy Standards the Deputy is required to have access to appropriate advice and expertise on investment, savings and property.
