What the buyer wrote
Art residency programmes offer artists with space and time to reflect, research, practice, exchange skills and build professional networks. They offer an established model to support artist development. They have become a mainstay of the UK and international cultural eco-system. The same focus, format and duration of residencies can vary significantly, meaning they offer a flexible model that can be tailored to the needs of different places, practices and experience levels.
