Contractors must be licensed by the HSE / Asbestos Licensing Unit UK for asbestos removal. The contractor(s) carrying out the asbestos removal works and associated works shall not be sub-contractor(s), i.e. all staff will be under the direct employment of the appointed contractor(s).
