Natural England has put together a restoration plan for the broad, which also includes proposals to improve the access to it and people’s understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of it. The resultant project – The Hoveton Wetlands Restoration project - has recently been awarded a total of £4M of external funding by the EU Life fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF), enabling Natural England to commence the delivery phase.
