BBC Safety Stores

The contract is to provide a fully managed safety equipment service to the BBC. The service will primarily support the News divisions and High Risk team. The supplier will supply safety equipment and consumables including but not limited to trauma kits, hostile environment kits, flak jackets and helmets. Some of these items may already be owned by the BBC and the supplier will manage their issue, return and maintenance. The supplier will have a system in place to allow BBC staff to order items and to be invoiced electronically. This will be via an e-commerce solution.
