The Council is procuring a range of accredited training courses to support local adult residents improve their employability and gain employment. Local residents benefiting from the training courses are referred to as 'learners' in the pages below. The learning will be aimed at those who are unemployed or economically inactive and whose prior attainment is below a full Level 2 qualification in order to progress them into further learning, or at the very least, to be closer to the labour market.
