CEFAS: Analysis of water, sediment and biological samples for the presence of deltamethrin

Cefas require samples of three matrices: 1) water; 2) sediment; and, 3) biological, to be analysed for levels of the pyrethroid insecticide deltamethrin ([(S)-Cyano-(3-phenoxyphenyl)-methyl] (1R,3R)-3-(2,2-dibromoethenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-cyclopropane-1-carboxylate). The levels present, particularly in the sediment and water, may be sub-nanogram per L or Kg and, as a result, Cefas will need to be assured of assay sensitivity and limits of detection. Details should be provided in responses. The Supplier is to provide a quoted price per individual sample.
