Instrument performance must meet World Meteorological Organisation standards for southern hemisphere monitoring, which are at least ±0.05 ppm for carbon dioxide, and at least ±2 ppb for methane. The instrument must have proven long-term stability during field-deployment over the order of months in order to ensure high quality long-term monitoring and run off a Windows based system.
