Chemical Control of Weeds

Southampton City Council (the Council) is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to undertake weed spraying and control services to highways and footpaths across the Councils area of responsibility. The appointed contractor being expected to complete two (2) Weed Spraying applications per annum, with an option of a third. The area of highway/footway to be treated is approximately 562 KM. (At the last centre-line measurement, the length of highway in Southampton was 562 kilometres, and recent measurement indicates that there are approximately 488,574m2 of other surfaces within the City that will require treatment).
