Cambridgeshire County Council wish to appoint a contractor(s) commencing on 1st July 2015 until 31 March 2018 and extendable for a further period of one year for the removal of bodies where a death has been referred to H.M. Coroner. In Cambridgeshire bodies are presently removed to Addenbrookes, Papworth or Peterborough Hospitals during mortuary opening hours. Out of mortuary opening hours most cases are removed back to the supplier's own premises, and moved to the mortuary in due course when required.
