The works required under this Tender is the provision of gas extraction boreholes, leachate monitoring boreholes, gas monitoring boreholes and groundwater monitoring boreholes and their installation at Rowley Landfill Site, Off Queens Park Road, Burnley, BB10 3LB. The site is a closed and restored non-hazardous landfill site which includes areas of both modern engineering and also older areas constructed under the principals of dilute and disperse. Capping of the site comprises areas of engineered shale and other areas with plastic membrane.
