The council have estimated there are approximately 147,000 microfiche jackets to be scanned containing an estimated total of 1,350,000 images. All images need to be indexed and uploaded to a data storage solution. Other documents, including paper documents and possibly further microfiche will need to be digitised and uploaded to the data storage solution on an ad hoc basis.
