CP1456-17 Modbury Flood Risk Management

Area 1 Area 1 comprises two cascading earthwork bunds on green space to the north of Back Street. The upper bund has a water storage volume of approximately 1000m3 whilst the lower bund has a water storage volume of approximately 800m3. Flows of surface run-off water will be diverted from the adjacent watercourse into the first bund, where a flow control device will allow a controlled flow into the second bund along a stream channel to the south of the first bund.
