Devon County Council's existing LAN maintenance support contract expires on 30th September 2019. The existing contract covers the hardware and software support for the Avaya VSP9000 units at County Hall, Exeter and the lifetime warranty of the remaining Avaya edge switches throughout the estate. The edge switch deployment consists mainly of ERS 4800's, with around half a dozen ERS4500's and a dozen 3500's.
