This work package is for the 2 Stage Design and Build Works to effect the permanent repair of Middleton Hall Bridge. Stage One - Design will be a NEC3 ECC Option C Target Cost Contract. Stage Two - Build will be an NEC3 ECC Option A Fixed Price Contract. Following the 2015 floods the bridge was closed due to collapse at the downstream portal, a temporary bridge with localised resurfacing had been installed to reopen the road to traffic.
