Decommissioning of Equipment at DVSA sites 2025

The purpose of this notice is to notify the market that Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) are seeking to find a single supplier for the provision of services relating to the decommissioning of Testing equipment within DVSA’s estate. DVSA will continue to reduce the volume of its Government Vehicle Testing Station (GVTS) Estates in accordance with observed incremental growth rate in the Authorised Testing Facilities (ATF’s) market and moving the Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) scheme out to privately owned sites called Vehicle Examination Facilities (VEF’s).
