Delivered in Primary School Meal Framework

Dorset County Council is setting up a framework for use by schools and academies in Dorset (including Bournemouth and Poole) to provide delivered in primary school meals. Kitchen facilities were removed from schools in the 1980s - therefore there are no prime cook facilities. Over the last ten years infrastructure has been put into schools to enable a delivered in cook chill method of service or a delivered in hot service - there are some schools which have no washing up facilities and so there is a requirement for the meal provider to provide a washing up service at the central kitchen.
