Demolition of Hut 7 & Hut 8

The buildings locally referred to as Hut 7 & Hut 8 form part of the Civic Campus which accommodates Swindon Borough Council?s main office based operations located off Beckhampton Street, Swindon. Hut 7 is a single storey timber Pratten Hut located adjacent to the perimeter of the campus and has historically been used for storage. Hut 8 is a two storey modular prefabricated building, the first floor has been mothballed for a number of years and the ground floor previously accommodated the staff canteen and the environmental health lab.
