In September and October 2016 work was carried out to integrate a number of asset datasets for drainage items in to one asset list for Cumbria. This was provided to a supplier to use as part of an additional winter cleanse contract. As part of this contract the supplier clarified the asset items and added additional asset items discovered to the inventory. The revised inventory therefore represents the latest information on the network showing 134,933 gully assets. Dedicated software has been introduced to manage the gully and drainage assets.
