Dud 2017 Consultancy Service for Evaluation of New Heritage Regeneration

In October 2007, the Cabinet of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council formerly supported the formation of an Arms Length Company which would act as an agent for the Council and funding partners in a joint venture with a private sector partner. The intention was to allow the creation of a dedicated vehicle with a clear focus on delivery; the ability to recruit employees at market rates; flexibility in operation as skill requirements change; together with the ability to scale up and manage other development initiatives in the Borough, if subsequently required.
