Essex Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner Fire and Rescue Authority (the Authority) are approaching the market to engage with firefighting foam vendors ahead of the release of a tender. The purpose of this PIN is to advise the market of the upcoming procurement procedure to award a framework agreement during 2019 and to engage with the marketplace prior to publishing a contract notice. The Authority are looking for feedback from vendors and/or other independent experts to ascertain whether what we are asking of the market is achievable, realistic and understood.
