Employment-Based Trainee Adult Social Work Programme

The London Borough of Lambeth is offering up to three of its adult social care employees the opportunity to train as social workers by completing a Higher Education Institute (HEI) social work degree programme as part of its employment-based route (EBR) scheme. Successful applicants will be requires to pay 50% of the tuition fees which will be refunded by the council on successful completion of the first year of academic study. Applications will primarily be invited from employees to study at under-graduate level, although the successful HEI must be willing to consider applications from suitably qualified employees to study at Master’s Level.
