Badgers are present on site and due to seasonal constraints it is necessary to commence translocation activities ahead of main construction starting. A badger survey for the southern section of the NPAR was undertaken in September 2016. The survey identified a main badger sett (located within the Pargut Bank) that is situated on the proposed NPAR route alignment.
