Wealden District Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant for the review the Councils current landscape maintenance contracts and subsequent procurements of new contracts. In 2012 the Council outsourced their landscape maintenance and tree services contracts supported by a number of other arrangements. These contracts are nearing renewal and, in addition, the recent acquisitions the Council have made mean that the present arrangements are no longer suitable for the current land portfolio. In addition the present arrangements are focussed on maintenance operations and need re-focussing to consider environmental and ecological issues. …
