This project results from an observation made by the Civil Aviation Authority's Flight Operations Inspectorate which requires Crew Training Post Holders to devise a flight crew training programme that integrates the use of Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTD)". It is intended this will replace the use of NPAS aircraft for this task. Each will pilot will attend an FSTD every 2 years as a minimum.
