It is the Boards intension to award this contract to a single Contractor and it is envisaged that the successful Tenderer will co-ordinate the running of project works at Eilean Glas Lighthouse.The proposed works principally involve the de-commissioning and removal of the obsolete sealed beam optic lamp array and electrical operating / monitoring system for replacement with an equivalent updated operating system with LED optic technology. The Lighthouse Tower, Adjoining Building which houses the Battery Room / Control Room and Welfare / Mess Building are also to be completely refurbished along with the application of protective and decorative coatings to all external and internal elevations …
