It is the Boards intension to award this contract to a single Contractor, and it is envisaged that the successful Tenderer will co-ordinate the running of a two (2) phase project at Mull of Galloway Lighthouse. The proposed works principally involve the de-commissioning and removal of the obsolete sealed beam optic lamp array and electrical operating / monitoring system for replacement with an equivalent updated operating system and LED optic technology. All electrical systems will be replaced and tested to current electricity at work regulations BS 7671.
