What the buyer wrote

The LGA is commissioning a piece of research to evidence the benefits of councils leading the roll out of the superfast broadband programme in their areas with a view to influencing the proposed gigabit-broadband delivery model. To inform the findings of this research the project will undertake a programme of engagement with both councils and broadband providers. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
