The Forestry Commission will be awarding a framework agreement for survey work undertaken using B6 plots in accordance with the Forest Mensuration Handbook 2013 (blue book). The South England Forest District undertakes a range of Forest Surveys throughout the year on the Public Forest Estate in order to maintain the sub-compartment records up to date to inform the district when building market plans and harvesting programmes. The District has an ongoing programme of surveys based on our working blocks system.
