A successful competitive bid for a Local Energy Advice Demonstrator (LEAD) project has provided GMCA with funding (total £1.9m) to test, trial and demonstrate the success of new approaches to delivering in-person energy saving advice, related to the installation of physical energy saving measures such as insulation. A core component of the awarded funding is to trial such engagement methods through multiple avenues, this includes places like community centers, GP surgeries, and DWP offices.
