The key area of delivery for the remainder of this FY is a review of the risks associated with the import of animals, animal products, animal by-products, germplasm, and high risk foods not of animal origin with proposals for a coherent controls regime for managing these risks.. To achieve this the holder of the role will need to recruit consultants and a team and establish how the review will take place. Building on this in the next FY a key deliverable will be getting agreement to this plan from across Whitehall and the DAs.
