Health Impact Assessment Expert

In addition to the standard topics covered in a typical HIA study (Warmth and Comfort, Energy Efficiency , Reductions in heating bills, Safety, Security, Social Costs and Benefits); the Council would like additional key outputs from the Expert, which consists of: (a) In terms of the Older People Sheltered programme, to gauge the additional impact of the adaptions (e.g. wet rooms) that the Council are installing, not only on health in terms of falls avoidance, but also, if possible, on any social care, e.g. any reduction of required home care services, provision of community equipment etc. (b) The stress of the refurbishment process to older people and any indication how this can be minimis…
