In 2024-25 the Health Inequalities Improvement Team (HIIT) commissioned the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) to develop an accredited training programme for Core20PLUS5 Connectors – community leaders committed to reducing health inequalities in their locality – to increase their understanding of the principles of promoting health and wellbeing, the importance of effective communication, and how to influence practical improvements for their communities.
