The Maritime and Coastguard Agency wishes to purchase 8 x 50 metres lengths of heavy duty inflatable oil containment boom (400m in total). This boom is to be in 8 x 50 metre lengths and will be fit to be deployed in open waters around the UK. It is envisaged that the nominal size of this boom would be in the region of 1500mm. If Tenderers supply more than one type of boom of this size, we would request that options are provided. The boom should be heavy duty with high visibility markings.
