HSCIC is engaging with the market to explore suppliers with the ability to source Independent Appraisers who are highly competent individuals who are capable of taking ownership of complicated problems and issues and that they can quickly establish credibility with senior colleagues in the profession and within HSCIC and the wider NHS and Social Care. Independent Standards Assurance Service (ISAS) is the HSCIC independent appraisal function for all Information Standards Collections and Extractions (ISCE), separate from the development process and procedures.
