The Council's vision for the Service is the provision of a Mental Health Social Care Step Down Floating Support Recovery Service that provides low level enabling support to Eligible Individuals with mental health needs. This will be to prevent, delay and reduce the needs of Eligible Individuals stepping down from social care services to enable them to recover, maintain their independence and be included in the community. The key aims of the Service are to enable recovery, independence and social inclusion within local communities using community assets and resources for Eligible Individuals.
