Inland Pre-Clearance FHDD - Disposals Contract
What the buyer wrote
This contract is for the secure disposal of goods seized during the course of customs operations. Containers and airfreight goods that are seized as part of Customs operations require secure disposal. The risk profile of the type of goods has expanded to the point where disposals may include hazardous goods. The services will include the recycling or destruction of seized goods prior to disposal. The goods will be delivered to the Supplier via HMRC's logistics supplier. The contract is a direct award under an existing HMRC framework agreement that allows for direct awards to be made.
