EMODnet Seabed Habitats The European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet) has a vision to provide long‐term access to high‐quality marine data covering all European coastal waters, shelf seas and surrounding ocean basins and to make that data interoperable and freely available for all users. EMODnet is an initiative from the European Commission Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE) as part of its Marine Knowledge 2020 strategy.
