Journey Time Engine

Reading Borough Council has secured DfT funding to develop and demonstrate Cooperative ITS (C-ITS) services in Reading. A core element of Reading's involvement is demonstrating the potential for C-ITS services to integrate to Urban Traffic Management and Control (UTMC). Data management is at the core of this proposal, intelligently using all of Reading's datasets to build an accurate journey time monitoring and prediction platform which will be able to inform UTMC strategies.
